Part of my newest collection: a handmade porcelain 7.5" wabi plate - 0.5" height - cut from a patterned clay slab in a shiny glaze. Dishwasher and food safe, handwashing encouraged.
This dinnerware collection is created using a traditional Japanese hand building technique of cutting layers from a porcelain slab. They were inspired by the artist’s memories with his grandfather practicing Seoye, a traditional Korean craft of artistic writing.
